The recruitment process can be very time consuming, which is one of the many reasons that a client will engage a recruitment agency.  We understand the client's need to get on with running their business.

During those frustrating periods when you are left waiting for information, calling the client direct may feel like the most pro-active way to get results.  Unfortunately it is often a guaranteed route to the Reject pile.  Clients do not generally appreciate the break in protocol and it can be seen as unprofessional and showing a lack of judgement.
