Say that again?

If you're hoping to branch out into a new field, try to explain your responsibilities in language that can be understood by everybody.  For example, if you have been working in Accountancy there will be many phrases and acronyms that make complete sense to your current colleagues.  But, if you're hoping to move into Marketing it is highly likely that they won't make the slightest bit of sense.


Employers are reearching you on social media

52% of employers have researched candidates on social media.  What you post could win or lose you a job.  Are you sure your feed is 'job friendly'?


Word Up

It's not just what you're saying that matters; how you're saying it is just as important.  There are words in your vocabulary that are affecting your career.  Remove the worst offenders if you can.
