One for all and all for one?

Sending out the same CV and cover letter to several agencies/employers at once might seem like a great time saver.  And it is.  But it isn't the best way to ensure that the reader gets to see what is most relevant to them and their role, and why you are the perfect person for it.

Always take time to research the company/industry.  Where possible, address your letter to the hiring manager by name.  Make it clear which role you are applying for and explain why you would like to be considered for it

Tailor your CV accordingly so that the relevant skills, achievements and experience are made clear.

And finally, double-check that your cover letter refers to the right job - it's an easy mistake to make when sending out multiple applications.
